ACADEMIC PRIZE

The info for this is outlined in detail on the A.R.S. site. Applications have been extended and will remain open (until July 20th) and we are excited to announce this year's reader: Professor Sam Cannon, PhD.

Dr. Cannon will be sent the applications "blind", without names, personal details of any kind or affiliations. While we expect to have a different University professor help us in this task each year; great thanks to Prof. Cannon, who is the Bruce and Steve Simon Professor of Language and Literature at LSU Shreveport. Thank you, Sam!

Most exciting, in addition to the powerful weekend of learning which EnochiaCon will bring, some members decided to come to Vancouver regardless! Thus we are beginning the 3 Days & 3 Nights Retreat now, in year one, June 16th-19th 2024. Originally we hoped to be able to do retreats in future years when we had a larger membership, but the desire is there now from our membership and so...it is happening.

Ghost Hunter David Sol & popular magick teacher Marcus Mattern of The Esoteric Magic Shop (https://theesotericmagickshop.com) will co-host the retreat. Both have been interviewed on Magick Without Fears Hermetic Podcast among many others.

The campsites have been paid for just outside Vancouver near Harrison Hot Springs (which is as legendary as it sounds). All members are free to attend and if you are interested more details are posted in the members only community section of the website.

We will collaborate and work together to make sure everyone who wants to attend can make it work!

The forest and lake hosts many trails and is a great opportunity to get out into nature after a weekend of breakthrough presentations and celebration of Dr John Dee & Sir Edward Kelly.

PS: It has been asked if we can do cabins next year for the retreat. Yes, we can and will. It only requires earlier reservations, so if you want to come to next year's retreat in cabins (and tents optionally), be sure to also let us know!

This is our first year and as some of you may know the past 40 days saw the greatest tragedy imaginable in my family and while nothing can be done about the results of that setback, life is for the living and so we must move on, as one Saint said: “The glory of God is every creature fully alive.”
